Consultancy Services for Review of Basic Rural Infrastructure towards improving Food and Nutritional Security in West Africa

 

Background
The project involved the conduct of a root and branch analysis of the state of basic rural agricultural infrastructure and identified actions that need to be undertaken in order to bring down the pieces of agricultural inputs, improve farm prices and reduce post harvest losses.


The project also identified priority areas of investment interventions in rural infrastructure development with a view to improving both farm markets and food markets; and ultimately food security and nutritional status of people in West Africa.
